He has been devoted to the practice of rehabilitation medicine for over 25 years across the healthcare continuum. His experience in patient management crosses the spectrum from outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing facility, and home and community based programs. He is a medical doctor board certified in rehabilitation medicine as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He serves as medical director of the Center for Medical Rehabilitation at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center in Seattle since 1989.
In addition he founded Rehab Without Walls with Dr. McLean and two other colleagues and served as the Medical Director of Gentiva Rehab without Walls Washington and Alaska from its inception to 2009. He is a clinical associate professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Dr. Cantini was also recently acknowledged in the ranking of top physicians in King County for Rehabilitation Medicine.
